Judge's word:

The tragedies and difficulties of 2020 showed how important it is for people to be able to be together - to work, communicate, experience moments of joy and sadness. The work is full of optimism, life is in colors, in the energy of a stroke. The historical importance of the site is symbolic.

Judge's word:

His heart squeezes as he follows the line of snow-covered luggage left on the platform, merging with the horizon. Each is a symbol of a life interrupted suddenly, a symbol of unfulfilled hopes and plans.

The absence of those seeing off indicates the cruelty of 2020 - the inability to be with loved ones at the most difficult moment, at the last moment of their lives.

The feeling of irrevocable loss and obscurity is emphasized by the strict composition and restrained color scheme.

Judge's word:

The girl's gaze attracts the viewer. The main character listens intently to the conversation of adults, but our attention is exclusively on her, thanks to the skillfully composed composition and contrast.

In the context of 2020, this picture makes you think about children trying to understand the drastic changes taking place around them, also listening to the conversations of adults with curiosity, alertness, and, until a certain age, with an unshakable belief that adults know a way out of any situation.
